have you tried loitering outside the local Liquor Stores in Weston, CT ??

I should be loitering in Turks N Caicos as I hear Mr Richards is often sitting at the Bars chatting with the tourists just like any other guy. When asked recently (true story) what he did for a living, Keith replied "I play guitar". Sadly, the person who witnessed this was not a Stones fan but relayed the story to a fellow fanatic.

Keith shook hands with us, Mick wouldnt even make eye contact and generally behaved like a bit of a spoiled arse getting his security people to make a fuss when none was necessary...and Charlie initiated a conversation about football and then waved hello at us having remembered us when he saw us again in a different country three days later.

Oddly enough, the Mick "non encounter" didnt bother me in the slightest. I expected that reaction. Keith's dramatic exit from the elevator and getting a handshake made up for it ten-fold. As did getting a pic with Charlie.

In some ways, maybe its not that much of an insult. Keith's 65 and looks older. For someone to assume that a man hanging around in a luxury tourist haunt isnt one of the idle rich and is still young enough to be working for a living is a sort of back handed compliment.

Actually - what happened shortly after our encounter with Mick spoke volumes and has a direct connection to yours.

He hurried down the steps towards the exit not making eye contact with ANYONE and having his bodyguards make sure no one took photos......and then noticed that a couple of the fans gesturing to him were pretty teenage girls.

THEN, and only then, did he turn around and briefly acknowledge their existence. Some things never change.

No rooster dances though.
