if the stones tour again, i think maybe they will bust out 5-6 tunes they have never played before...i mean never played before.  other than that it will be stuff that has been played and you can bet your bippy you will hear the warhorses.    they have to or at least they should just because they are still a functioning gang and that is their job...its either that or a new cd.  what other options are there?

When the Rolling Stones Tour again in 2010 ... they will need fresh meat (or product) ... a new CD is possible sort of "A Lesser Bang", but the new record company will want to promote the "old faithful" catalog ... "Another 40 Licks" as suggested by track listing on my first post ... the issue is how to keep it fresh when you are recyling trash??? ... some of those cuts need to be heard maybe 5 or 6 in a live setting ... "don't you know it's rude to stare!" ...

For myself, I can't imagine anything more exciting (regarding The Rolling Stones) than them playing albums in their entirety. Say Let It Bleed from start to finish in the LP's song order. Then they could fill in the remaining time with whatever.

A lot of bands/artists are doing this these days. No band could generate more interest as The Rolling Stones doing this with their huge catalog of releases. Probably would be wise to stay away from the Mick Taylor era, unless . . .
