It has been said that one can take a true measure of another individual by how well they post with a serious hangover and your young Joey sure has one today ( ..go figure -- another Saturday and other Hangover ..... a real NASTY one too ..... ) .
Why so Nasty ?! .... a certain Keith " Dear Boy " Moon arrived quite early ( ..around 10:00 PM CDT ) at The Brazen Head last evening ( .. an Irish Band called ' Ellis Island ' was performing so I am glad Keith got to the Pub sooner rather than around his usual Midnight ) and promptly bought everyone seated / standing at the West Bar a couple of rounds of " Phillips Union " shots ( Mmmm ! .. Lip smackin' ) , Guinnesses , Brandy Alexanders , shots of Bushmill , and God knows what else ........ and that was BEFORE the first set even ended .
My Stonesian Kin ...... I have said it many times ....... Keith can friggin DRINK !!!!! .. DRINK !!!!!!
I mean , when one has " Keith in the Pocket " one had better be sure to eat something whilst imbibing so ' Chicken Wings ' suddenly appeared throughout the course of the evening and while they taste good going down one had better make sure the fan in the bathroom is ' operational ' the next morning that is all I can say .....
Anyway , Keith wanted me to tell everyone at Rocks Off " Hello " and that unfortunately the year 2009 will REMAIN a year of ' No Activity ' for the Rolling Stones . Keith mentioned that Mick is watching the economic situation in the world VERY closely and has concluded that a WORLD TOUR at this particular juncture is DEFINITELY out of the question . I asked Keith if the current rally in the stock market was a ' Bear Market Rally ' and Keith brayed , " It is a friggin " SUCKERS " Market designed to ' take to the cleaners ' those who did not get ' fleeced ' last fall / winter . However , before I got a chance to ask Keith if he thought unemployment ( U2 ) was going to reach ' double digits ' , an EXTREMELY attractive dark haired / blue- eyed Irish young woman walked by and Keith was' off - to - the - races ' as they say .................................... never saw him again the rest of the night and never saw Keith pay has tab either [ ...come to think of it ... in all my years of drinking with Keith Moon I have YET to see him pay for friggin ANYTHING !!!!! ]
Now me Stonescicles ( a cold front came throught last evening and the temp is currently forty - five degress --- me balls are freezing as I type this dear reader ) ... I would love to grace you all with more but a ' bio break ' is definitely in order as those chicken wings I mentioned a bit earlier have come calling once again and ................................................... : **
