Iggy Pop's brand new video, "King of the Dogs," has just been unleashed upon the world. It's an interactive video that allows you to choose between 1 of 3 characters. There is also a new widget available in support of the forthcoming album "Preliminaires" which will be released by Astralwerks on June 2nd. The widget features illustrations by Marjane Satrapi (from Persepolis).

IGGY POP PLANS CHRISTMAS ALBUM

IGGY POP is giving Christmas classics a punk rock makeover - he's planning to release a record of holiday tunes.
The Stooges frontman has embraced a new musical direction in recent months with an album of jazz standards already in the works.
And at 62, he insists he's finally ready to get into the holiday spirit with a rock 'n' roll version of his fans' favourite Christmas songs.
He tells Relix magazine, "I am a real threat to cover White Christmas this year. I'm warning you now: I'm ready, cocked and loaded."

He's got the pipes for it, that's for sure. But Christmas songs? I've always abhored celebrity Christmas albums.
