Because Mick T was the best lead guitarist the Stones ever had, and they made their best albums (Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, Exile on Main St, Goats Head Soup) while he was in the band! Cool

One thing I will say, though, is Mick T had ZERO stage presence...head down, playing away. Even Clapton has more personality onstage!

I've been hearing rumors that the Exile remaster release later in the year will coincide with a tour announcement for 2010...just a rumor I saw online...

OK! I stand ready to take whatever abuse spills forth! What the fuck?

I didn't like the "disco"/dance period the Stones went through with Black and Blue, Some Girls, and Emotional Rescue. I'm really not much of a fan beyond the mid-70s, although I like several songs...Voodoo Lounge was a good disc, as was Bigger Bang (most of it) but as was said in another thread, I'm a Stones purist!
