Yes. There are several songs on Exile which were recorded or first attempted in 1969-70.
When he was being interviewed for the 'Exile' reissue, Mick, in a classic bit of goalpost-moving, justified the inclusion of some really old songs on it by saying that he had considered anything from Loving Cup onwards to be eligible for inclusion as it was the first of the 18 songs on the original album to be cut - in mid 1969. Even though it was around the half way point in the sessions for Let It Bleed ('Title 5' almost certainly comes from WAY earlier though - but thats another discussion)
The version of Loving Cup on the Exile bonus disc is a splice of two takes -the first part is from an early mid 1969 version.
Only about 60% of Exile originates from Nellcote in 1971 (and even then a lot of the vocals and overdubs were added in LA afterwards). Songs like Shine a Light, Stop Breaking Down, Sweet Virginia, Shake Your Hips, Sweet Black Angel, maybe Let It Loose as well as the Exile 'leftovers' such as Dancing In the Light, Good Time women, the alternate take of All Down The Line etc were either first worked on or finished in 1969-70. The reason why there are hardly any bonafide Exile outtakes on the bonus disc is because the original album itself had so many songs from previous sessions added on to it or overdubbed to stretch it to a double album. I doubt if songs like Plundered my soul, Following the river, Pass the wine etc ever had much in the way of lyrics when the Stones were working on them in 1971-72.
