Oh, they always did that in those teen mags. Made the stars seem more accessible to young teenyboppers. Most of our hunky heroes were 10 years older than I was. For years, I thought that Mark Lindsay really WAS born in 1944. Roll Eyes

They took 2 years off his age, and 4 for Paul Revere! They had him born in '42 when he was born in '38. Just a media gimmick. The thing is, the guys, in interviews, had to remember to tell the fake year instead of the real year in which they were born! Wink
