I plan on making this event, I'd read about it in the Boston Globe yesterday.
I will report either during or after the event or both.....

Good to hear Ronnie is up for some on stage action.  You rock! ...and with Lisa and Blondie too.

Now what's up with that silly poll?

Checked this web site this am, looks like Ron Wood is not
part of the lineup at this time...unless he's the surprise guest...

The SUPERGROUP features the world-class talent of Ace Frehley (formerly of KISS), Simon Kirke (Bad Company), Chad Smith (The Red Hot Chili Peppers), Teddy "Zig Zag" Andreadis (Guns 'n Roses), Will Lee (CBS Orchestra from "Late Night with David Letterman"), Barry Goudreau (formerly of Boston), Ricky Byrd (formerly of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts), James Montgomery and Kate Taylor.

Opening acts include Ernie the Automatics and local favorite Bryan McPherson.

The event will be hosted by Lynn Hoffman of A&E's "Private Sessions" ... and a surprise guest!

The Boston Globe is now reporting Ronnie will not do this gig:

Wood out, Cooper in
Alas, Ron Wood will not be performing at the April 26 benefit for Right Turn. Seems the Rolling Stones guitarist (inset) suddenly has a "scheduling conflict" and won't be able to make the fund-raiser for the Arlington-based recovery center for artists and entertainers. (Wood, who has a history of alcohol abuse, was recently warned by bandmate Keith Richards to shape up or ship out.) Replacing Ronnie as the headliner will be Alice Cooper, who'll be backed by the likes of Chad Smith, Simon Kirke, Ace Frehley, Teddy "Zig Zag" Andreadis, Barry Goudreau, Ricky Byrd, and others.

Alice Cooper would be a good choice for a recovery center fund raiser, he's been sober since '83, a good example, I can't say the same thing about Ronnie, who it seems drinks of & on since his last stint in rehab, unless this is just news headlines making up a story.
