God damn how fucking annoying arse system,,,its really fucked up.I hate this damn system.It does whatever it wants,there no control
to it,and for music downloaders,its a fucking nightmare.

I started downloading ft.worth-97 sbd,i can´t burn it to disks,becasue this fucker doesn´t want to,it doesn´t
recognize software,or it doesn´t open files,even if i have software for that.

i have nero 7,it deosn´t work,then explorer opens,and it offers me NERO 7 which i allready have.....

now i´m testting downloading,London-76 from dime,this fucker makes its own files,and i don´t have anyhting
to say about it,it just makes them,and i have no idea is it going to work or not,if it doesn´t,i´m going to
bring this fucker back.

Windows mediaplayer doesn´t work in the net,and i had hard fucking time to get Flac frontend to work,
i had to shut down security system of my Pc..how fucked up is that?

problem with my old pc is that,it doesn´t work anymore properly,its very slow,and i would need a new
one soon anyways.....is VISTA the only one?
This system has no use what so ever,not for musiclovers.
Maybe for someone who wants a prison.

Well,download seems to work,but i can´t choose files for my download,or upload,it made its own file,and thats about it.

XP is fine,its in my older PC,but,it doesn´t work too well anymore,i have cleaned harddrive several times now,and
it works fine about 2-3weeks,it takes sometimes 30mins to shutdown...without any updates.

Vista was allready,"ready" on Pc,,,how i can get ridd of it? and drive XP or Mac in it?

i think its not possible?

does any of you have lates NERO 9?

That being said, VISTA leads to 2-4 Internet Explorer crashes every day on my system and XP did less than 2-4 times a year! Progress?

They have had a ton of revisions to Vista maybe try going to Microsofts web and check for service pack updates there. Just a thought.....good luck man

I'm sticking with XP, I had Vista for a while about 2 Yrs. ago, I didn't like it, it made up it's own mind as to what programs it uses, programs I used for years for maintenance for computer ( Easy Cleaner, Registery Mechanic, Defrag.) I couldn't use because Vista only want's their own programs, I installed XP & everything works great.

Don't use Windows Media Player! it's crap anyhow.
try VLC player or use the Firefox browser and get plugins for that.
Media Player Classic is another working alternative. Winamp and Media Monkey too

If you have Vista Business or Vista Ultimate you can downgrade the OS to Win XP.
this will not work with Vista Home Basic and Home Premium.

ehemm... that's not true.
Your favourites bookmarks can be exported and saved, then imported back on your new system.
it's a good idea to back them up anyhow.
...and use Firefox as a browser.

I've got vista and nero 7 & everything works fine. had this pc for almost 2 years
without problems.
(However nero can have some issues with vista)

but anything can be wrong with your pc: windows, some software or a virus....

IMO best thing is to reinstall the whole thing.

(btw windows 7 will be coming 'soon'. i worked with it: it's like vista only MUCH faster)

personally i don't like mac, as they are too expensive & hardly compatible with any softwar out there.
and furthermore they can crash just like a PC (don't believe the propaganda)
no security issues? true, bat that's because hardly anyone uses them..

not saying mac is bad, but in the end it's just a computer, with all the issues that come with it...

Oh and don't visit dodgy porn sites, they can fuck up your computer... or so i've heard

The advantages of Firefox:
It's safer than IE. Microsoft's IE has a great big red target painted on it which hackers just love to get at.
it takes ages (read years) for MS to close known glitches and exploits.

Firefox is open source coded, so many people who understand and write code discover glitches real fast and will provide a workaround which will result in a updated browser version. it's not un-common to get a new browser version 4 weeks apart.
not so with IE. they need months and years to get simple problems fixed.
online banking with IE? Ouch!

OMG, never!

Firefox loads pages much faster, uses less RAM. has a built in search engine.
Less confusing and cluttered than IE’s Internet Options.

I could go on - but that'll have to do for now you made a grown man cry
