that was fucking great - it's amazing to me to see him ....still - after all these years...
i get that thing in my throat, that excelerating heart rate i got when i was a kid....
his voice, this humor, his style and charisma are still peerless...
all the glamour at the ceremony, all the 'stars' etc...
and jagger still upstages everybody because he is still the quintessential rock star extraordinaire...
ahh, the glimmer still blinds me.

it really is amazing.
we're so used to seeing him in performance with the stones, but when its just him, its still larger than life.
this is why i get so annoyed with those fans who think keith is the stones....
they forget or take for granted the jagger charisma,
that voice, so deep, strong and resonant - and self-mockery and snarkiness behind it...
this is our mick jagger.
