Yes, Gregg was a genuine assmunch for firing Dickey. I sure wish Dickey and Great Southern would tour more. I saw them once about three or four years ago and they were excellent.

First of all, though Donna Jean was a bit of a nuisance, she was largely inconsequential aside from the occasional unfortuntate shriek. To compare her presence with the death of Pigpen on Brent as the worst thing is just silly.

Vince was only chosen because they couldn't deal with conducting a proper search. They auditioned five guys in one day and picked Vince because he could sing high harmony, not because of his keys playing. He was indeed an unfortunate, and ultimately tragic choice.

Only a crowd can make you feel so alone.
