Got a bet with a buddy that 1974 was the only year in the 70's that the boys didn't play at least 1 live gig? Anyone know for sure?

That is correct.

There were also no live gigs in 1980, 1984, 1985, 1987, 1988, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 2000, 2001, 2004 and 2008.

technically there were no Stones concerts in 1968 and 1983 too. In '68, they made a 2-song guest appearance at the NME Pollwinners Show and then filmed the Rock n Roll Circus for TV in December.

In '83 they played a few numbers informally at the Bains-Douches club in Paris when they were filming the 'Undercover' video, but it wasnt a concert - and the details of what was played isn't known.

If they play a Bains Douches concert today, what are the odds we wouldn't know the set list?

They played a one off gig when they got that Grammy BS Award. 100 Club, I think.

Correct. Sort of. It was a tribute gig for Stu - the Grammy award was the same week (they accepted it via satellite from a party in London)

The only Stones show since about 1964 which didnt feature any Jagger-Richards songs. They did a few blues songs plus 'Harlem Shuffle'.

Unfortunately, there's no recording. Every Stones show since the early 70's has apparently been recorded by the sound crew, apart from this one. Specific instructions not to for some reason (I'd imagine that the 'informal' performances they did at various video shoots - eg WOAF, LARS and Undercover - weren't taped either, but you never know)
