Keith Richards” wit and wisdom being turned into a book
December 26th, 2008 - 1:07 pm ICT by ANI -
New York, Dec 26
www.thaindian.com

(ANI): The life of Keith Richards, English guitarist and a founding member of The Rolling Stones, is being turned into a book.

The New York Post has learnt Jessica Pallington West has compiled the book “What Would Keith Richards Do? Daily Affirmations from a Rock ”n” Roll Survivor.”

West compiles such classic Richards reflections as, “I would rather be a legend than a dead legend,” and “I”ve never had a problem with drugs, only with policemen.”

The book will be out in May.

In 2003, Richards, who has been tried on drug-related charges five times, was ranked 10th on Rolling Stone magazine’’s “100 greatest guitarists of all time”. (ANI)

I thought at first that was what their talking about, but I'm really looking forward to his autobiography too, I would imagine he would get help with it, because of all the years of drugging & drinking, I would imagine his brain cells must be burnt out, look at Ronnie!

There's been a book out now for quite some time called "Stone Me - The Wit & Wisdom of Keith Richards" compiled by Mark Blake, which is a pocket sized book filled with his more memorable one-liners.

Who the hell is Jessica Pallington West?
I really don't know.

Anyway there's nothing new under the sun, at least someone said that once.

"The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done:  and there is no new thing under the sun.  Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new?  it hath been already of old time, which was before us.  There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after."--Ecclesiastes I:9-11.
