Dec 25^th, 2008 at 11:15am here is what i got - a home made fruitcake - a fleese sweater - candy - a large bottle jack daniels [came with coke and limes] -2 stones dvd's 20 thousand in cash but the best gift of all was a colorful finger painting from my 2 year old niece that read...i love you dave. what did you guys get?

Santa was quite good to me. Beautiful purse/wallet, a DIGITAL CAMERA (now we DO need a Summit), Stones Book and Calendar, some very warm Ugg Ear Muffs, some precious Cranberry glass for my collection and this lovely item from an unnamed RO'er:

But Santa gave me something more important than all of the above. He gave me a wonderful Holiday where I really enjoyed the love of my Family and Friends. He also brought me Hope. Hope that even when things seem really dark, if you just stay strong, and persevere, things will get better and the light will find its way back into your life.

I got homemade damson plum jam and dilly beans and mint jam and 275 in gift cards, some brownie bread, an irish soda bread and some white chocolate covered pretzels dipped in sprinkles and 25 lbs of pro plan cat food and 2 gallons of paint, a paint pole decorated with winnie the pooh and princess stickers and $50.00 in future paint. the best was 2 letters I received from old friends and phone calls with long lost stones buddies. . our family doesnt' do gifts except for food that is made and prezzies for the kiddies. which is fine by me.

My best present this year was a snow shovel. Actually it was the only thing I got this year besides a cd with about 500 family pics on it and peanut butter and chocolate fudge and homemade bread. That's it. But I'm not bitchin".....I love that shovel, came with a christmas bow on it too.
