The upcoming Chanel handbag campaign is said to be inspired by Colette’s “Chéri,” the French novel about a young man and his relationship with a woman almost twice his age.

Karl Lagerfeld has cast icon Jerry Hall in the role of the older woman and model Baptiste Giabiconi, who appeared in Lagerfeld’s silent mini film for Chanel’s Paris-Moscow show, in the role of the young man who will be reportedly seeking her affection on a bed strewn with a quilt and, fittingly, a quilted bag.

i saw the guy a year ago on some tv thing and he said once the final was over he never saw jerry again and that hundred thousand dollar ferrai he was suppose to get he never received it poor guy i actually watched the whole season and the winner who for some reason i can't remember tight now was the only one with a personality he was cool

Actually here in the NY area, because the economy SUCKS, people who shop the designer stores such as Chanel, or Chloe, or Coach, or Hermes are asking for plain brown bags instead of store logo bags! Theft is way up, and people who can afford to spend big are looked down upon with eyes that can kill by most of the people who cant afford to buy anything nice! So the rich and elite are being despised by the people who are out of work and broke.

IF Jerry has a chance to earn money, good for her, but in this day and age the designer trend is looked upon with disgust.
