George Harrison wrote that tune better. The lyrics are some sub-Dante Gabriel Rossetti English post-Romanticism. "2000 Man" at least makes it onto film soundtracks. "The Lantern" actually succeeds better, but it's so slight that it can't even coalesce into ethereality, and I hate myself for once liking it every time it comes on.

Sadly, when a band cuts a slight little song and presses it without actually giving it a title, just the piss-take designation magic-markered on the o/d sheet, it really shouldn't let the title be the name of an internationally famous but dreadfully boring US labor leader.
