Got this from RS.com
09.05.08 Keith Richards Duets With George Jones
Keith Richards duets with country star George Jones on the title track of Jones' recently released Burn Your Playhouse Down: The Unreleased Duets. The album, out on Bandit Records, features never-before-released duets between Jones and a host of varied musicians recorded over the last five decades.

Keith first met George Jones when the Rolling Stones shared a bill with him in 1964 on their first tour of the US. Three decades later, Keith took a break from the band's 1994 mixing sessions for Voodoo Lounge to record "Say It's Not You" for Jones' album, The Bradley Barn Sessions.

Now, 14 years later, fans can again enjoy the interplay between the two. Click here to get your copy of Burn Your Playhouse Down: The Unreleased Duets or download the title track from Amazon or iTunes.

Music, to me, is the joy, right? I love my kids most of the time, and I love my wife most of the time. Music I love all the time. It's the only constant thing in my life. It's the one thing you can count on. :Keith Richards 1993

Meg sent me an mp3 of this a few days ago.

It's absolutely brilliant.

Another one of those little cameos that Keith pulls off so wonderfully every so often

File it up there with those guest appearances with The Band/Scotty Moore, Toots & The Maytals etc.

Well worth getting.

this one's awesome too.

It's actually quite surprising that Keith can still sing that well considering how much he smokes and drinks. He can hit higher notes than Mick these days. He can hold them longer too.

Long time ago I listened(and now watched!) these duets from Keirh. Thank you for the links!!

Q: does someone (Gazza?) has a (complete?) list of all the duets Keith has done over the years and with whom? Could make a nice cd-compilation when put together together!

You rock! wanna improve your duck-pluckin' chicken-pickin' & karaoke skills? it's fun

Burn Your Playhouse Down – George Jones and Keith Richards

I've got a-achin' in my heart, arson on my mind
I'm gonna burn your playhouse down
I've got a badly broken heart, I've had it from the start
You've given me the run around.

Now if you play with fire it's a-sure to burn
I've known this all of my life
So be on your way, but honey,  I've had my say
I'm through with you for life.

Ah, there's one in every yard and I'm a-gettin' mighty tired
I'm gonna burn your playhouse down.

--- Instrumental ---

I've got a-achin' in my heart, arson on my mind
I'm gonna burn your playhouse down
I've got a badly broken heart, I've had it from the start
You've given me the run around.

Well if you play with fire it's a-sure to burn
I've known this all of my life
Go on, be on your way, well honey, I've had my say
'Cause I'm through with you for life

I've got an achin' in my heart, arson on my mind
I'm gonna burn your playhouse down.

--- Instrumental ---

Now if you play with fire it's a-sure to burn
