Neil Young Unveils Fall Tour
Monday, Aug 18, 2008 2:49PM
Rock icon Neil Young has announced dates for a North American tour that features support from Wilco, Death Cab for Cutie and Everest.
The trek kicks off October 14 at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn., and wraps December 15 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Other stops include MTS Centre in Winnipeg (October 16), Comcast Arena at Everett Events Center in Washington (October 21), Cox Arena in San Diego (October 29), Qwest Center in Omaha, Neb. (November 5), Bell Centre in Montreal (December 1), The Palace of Auburn Hills near Detroit (December 7), and The Wachovia Spectrum in Philadelphia (December 12).
Death Cab for Cutie and Everest will open for the first half of the tour, with Wilco and Everest covering the majority of the second half.
All shows for this run will be general admission floor with reserved seating in the stands. Complete ticket information is available at LiveNation.com and NeilYoung.com.

Neil Young is coming to Omaha.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will perform Nov. 5 at the Qwest Center Omaha.

The legendary singer-songwriter will be joined by band members Ben Keith, Rick Rosas, Chad Cromwell, Anthony Crawford and Pegi Young.

Death Cab For Cutie and Everest will open his tour dates from Oct. 14 through Nov. 5. Wilco and Everest are on the bill for dates starting Nov. 29.

Tickets, $45 to $250, will go on sale Sept. 12 "
