I just received an email from HollyH (one of the admins for the Kinks Fan Club MB who clearly has a thing for me). She and some of her KinkKomrades educated us all about Ray and the boys when the Couch had it's wildly successful "Kinks Weeks" in 2006 and earlier this year. She was saddened to hear about the demise of the Couch and hopes Max is absolved of all the public nudity charges ASAP so he can get back to posting.

Anyhow, the Kinks folks are having a Stones Week at their board next week and they want us to come! I reminded her that half of us aren't housebroken and that we have a tendency to drink and post, but that didn't faze her one bit. So come Monday, it's time to invade the Kinks board!

Set your calendars! Mark the date on your watches! And for god's sake, this time let's try not to pee on their furniture like we did when moonie got us a stones week at the herman's hermits MB...

Starbuck, darling, thanks for starting the charcoal; I've got the steaks ready to go on the grill. Well, maybe it's just hot dogs, or tofu dogs for those of you who are vegetarily inclined. But whatever, the good folks of the Kinkdom look forward to Stones Week and we hope loads and loads of you lovely Stones fan will come visit.

I hope Feej remembered he's in charge of bringing the malt liquor.

Well, average this out with my post count over on the Kinks board and I'm at around 3500. It's all relative.

So I thought y'all over here were interested in a party? We Kinksters have just about exhausted our Stones knowledge, we need some new blood to kick it up a notch. Our random speculations about Mick and Keith being gay lovers is already losing its novelty.
