Checked Aussie store JB hi-fi for the blu=ray but they didnt have it on their site. IN fact, no mention of SAL at all! But they are hopeless at updating and the staff are as dumb as dogshit. Been thinking of ordering it from America, but i am scared it wont be region free and my ps3 wont play it.

I picked up a copy last week at Best Buy in Sweet VA for $13.99 plus 5% tax.

I got my Blu-Ray on Monday, put it on and cranked much to the delight of my family. My kids didn't care too much, but my 7 yearold new exactly Keith was, and then we talked about Brian Jones, still fascinated with dead people.
My wife was blown away by X-tina. She made a comment about how she's the best black sounding, non black singer. Then we giggled as Jagger humped on her.

I'm off today.  I'm going to go pick it up along with a case of beer.

Well if it's region free, then thats cool. Most music blu-ray's are region free. But annoyingly, it's generally not stated on the sites. I get my Yank stuff from dvdpacific. Never had a hassle. Ntsc/pal is no problem here in Oz as all our tv's and vcr's and dvd's have dual playback. But blu-ray is something i dont know about. Sony have always been bastards and that's the trouble i fear with my ps3. EG: There is no point getting games, like Grand theft auto from America because it wont work. Which is ok, as i am getting it for my birthday.

Daeth has ordered his copy from Amazon, but i dont know if its standard dvd or blu-ray. Aussie dvd prices are very good right now, but our blu-ray prices are disgraceful. And ps3 games are over 100 fucking dollars! Though Sony is bringing out some "platinum" games for $50.

Can you see my dilemma?

Do i blow 20-30 bucks for a SAL blu=ray from the U.S. that may not frigging work, then have to pay $40+ here in Oz later on in the year to replace it.

Or do i just have another drink?

The DVD failed to chart on the Top 40 DVD sales or Music videos in US. It seems the CD sales are enough for SAL. 

There were a lot of copies checked out at my local Blockbuster, so we need to factor in rentals, too.
