Burress is from Norfolk VA.
The Tidewater area is notoriously tough, and has had it's share of locals who've had run-ins with the law - the Vick brothers and Allen Iverson come immediately to mind.

Not defending or condoning Burress' escapade, but Giants WR Steve Smith was robbed in front of his own house last week.

And Plaxico's house was robbed when he lived in Pittsburgh.

Of course packing heat at a nightclub is a whole 'nother story.
Safe to say he's played his last game as a Giant...

The Cowboys are not going to be happy next Sunday. Its another 33-10 type deal.

The Jets are "dog ass." The Broncos are all fags.

Its unclear if the Pats can rebound.

The Chargers are just all around losers.

The Giants look unbeatable, but its early yet.

The Colt don't have balls. Skimping by the Browns like that. Also, Brady Quinn is going to go down as the next Ryan Lief. Or at least the next Rex Grossman. What a stupid ass pick.

That's just all I got here at work. That's just it.

The Steelers be where its at. The Nation, under god, indivisible, east liberty and justice for all of The Nation.

I hope he is through as a Giant. This is a pattern that has been going on long enough. His on the field problems only reflect that. Trust me Pittsburgh, is an old school crooked town that certain things are kept out of the press, and Plax has been. As far as his house being robbed here, I would love to know what really happened. He lived in a part of town where many local celebs live, and houses just are not broken into there.

The Giants don't need him to win. Hell, the Steelers won the Super Bowl the year after he left.

Its a shame though. He as all the talent and the size to be one of the great ones.
