FOXBORO - Being underdogs against the Jets lit the Patriotsfire last week.

They don’t have to look hard to find motivation for Sunday’s game aginast Miami.

Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter provided plenty of bulletin board material in an interview with ESPN.com’s Tim Graham yesterday, taking particular aim at Pats quarterback Matt Cassel.

“I just know he’s not Tom Brady ,” said Porter, known for making brash predictions while with the Steelers. “So if it’s not Tom Brady, it shouldn’t be that hard.”

He said that while the Pats’ receiving corp was the same, “they can’t get the ball like they were used to getting it when Brady was there.”

Porter all but guaranteed a win for the 0-2 Fish, saying, “it’ll be good to go out there and get our first victory.”

Porter also gave more than a hint as to how the Dolphins ‘D’ would attack Cassel.

“You treat him like you treat a backup,” Porter said. “How do you prepare for a backup? He don’t get that many snaps, right? So you throw the kitchen sink at him. that’s what we’re going to do.”

Nellie.Steelers cut bait with the mouth a while back and from what I see on the outside LB position we are doing fine without him.Huge test this Sunday in Philly and I have seen line with Eagles minus 2.5? Gotta love Philly at anything under 6.....Maybe more

Eagles are ripe for the kill.
After that fruitcake spiked the ball @ the 1 Monday night..
I would think Parcells is looking for any excuse to jettison Porter, for he hates loudmouths...

No need to be sorry. That was an outright ass kicking. Ben Roethlisberger's career was shortened. Christ, the Philly D-Line was beating Ben to Willie Parker on handoffs. I never saw anything like that. Philly offence was bad also, but good enough to win. THe Philly coaches did their homework. THe Steelers offence was exposed. Badly.

Pats were out coached, out played.
We stunk the place out.
Was this game about the 'Phins winning the Super Bowl
this year, or, the Pats still having to adjust to life without TFB?
