Giants get it done in a workmanlike fashion. Opening drive was brilliant. After that it was all business. Giants and the under works very well for me. Although I did expect a bit more out of the 'Skins. But then again, with little Danny Snyder as the owner. It won't upset me too much.

Pats have a tough opponent in the Chiefs this weekend.
They are a smart, talented team.
They are explosive on offense, with a new qb
They are well coached, by Herm Edwards, who is familiar
with our team, during his time with the J E T S.
Lots our team is still coming together.
We had a good pre-season, although we did not win anything.
Tom Brady is 100%
We need to not get ahead of ourselves, take one game at a time.

Nellie.. I was waiting for this post.Despite your caution I suggest that we all take our Gints profit and double up minus the 16 or so points. I think Pats throw a shutout here and win 27-0.

Thanks GK.  We are not underestimating the Chefs.  They are a formidable opponent.
They play well in all three facets of the game. I would look for a close game.
Coach Edwards did say most of his team has not played at the Razor, that
they need to be prepared for the stadium.  Trop Storm Hanna could be a factor.
SCL, I'd be getting ahead of myself by noting a score..

Big Blue did not look that good last night, but they did what they had to do to win.   Reminds me of a team that has won 5 Supes.

Believe it or not I am a Niners fan.   I remember being in grade school and my dad took me to my high school's games.  One game this quarterback from Ringgold high school destroyed us.   Last year when I was coaching my nephew's team, my nephew scored his first touchdown at Legion Field in Donora PA.  The same field where some Notre Dame/Niners quarterback learned the game.  I brought a tear to my eye.  Stan the Man Musial also played there.

Yeah that Joe guy is still greatly revered in these parts.Rightly so....But man, what is it in the water back there, that makes them grow great quarterbacks?

I don't know.  The water had no effect on me.   I was QB for one game in high school (because of injuries to others), believe it or not against Joe Montana's Ringgold.  I was destroyed.  I still have bruises to prove it.

Maybe Sirmoonie has the answers, since he lived a few blocks away from Dan Marino.

Pats, despite Tom going down on the 2nd series of the game, extended their regular season
streak to 20 games.  No word on Brady as of this time, however, probably out two-three weeks.
Cassel filled in good, found his groove with a bomb to Randy Moss in the 2nd qtr.
All in all, Pats played good in all three facets of the gaem.  You never want to see
anyone hit the ground, so, time will tell about Tom.
