Welcome back man (keef not Orpheus).  What were you fishing for?  You should see all the fishing shit I have.  I'll never use most of it, but I needed it.  Man, I have over 30 rod and reel combos alone.

No, I was too intoxicated.

Can't find much news on the game, not even at McMillen's.  Despite the lack of information, I'm telling everyone it was a performance indicative of a Super Bowl win, which I am also predicting.

Steelers O Line was exposed with up the middle pressure forcing Ben to scramble and throw too quickly. With the quality of defenses they will face this year expect it to be a continual problem.I think Leftwich makes the team and poor Batch gets cut.Dixon stays for future trade bait.Defense will be fine once Troy is back and they actually use some blitz packages versus the vanilla they use in pre-season.Mehndenhall better learn to hang on to the rock though.Poor game though for both teams offensively although Vikes had starting QB out.Next week the scubs fight for the final 3-4 roster spots.Sweed looks okay although wont be a factor this year. The whole 2008 draft looks suspect versus what the real team needs are which is improved line play and D Line depth.

I stopped over at McMillen's today.  What is the deal?  Is that place on lockdown of sumthing?  Last year people arguing, fighting, getting fired up.  The year its like A Pittsburgh baseball Buccos board.

Yes it does and not a moment too soon.Cant wait.Giants are only 3.5 faves?..This has mortgage bet written all over it.Bookies have Pats at -16 and climbing.Guess they learned from last year. If its really muggy in Miami or raining maybe the Fins can pull one out.Would love to see Favre get his ass handed to him by Pennington.Worried about the under the radar Texans and my Steelers looking ahead to week 2 in Cleveland. Developing.........

Brady Sr. touches on his son's foot injury
Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff September 3, 2008 05:40 PM

Tom Brady Sr. was surfing the World Wide Web this morning when he came across information that his son, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, had an MRI in mid-August that revealed a cracked bone in his right foot.

The information ran counter to what Brady Sr. had previously discussed with his son.

“He did tell us that he had stress on the bone, and that’s why he wore a [protective] boot for a day – one day,” Brady Sr. said. “He has never told us that he had any broken bones or fractured bones in his foot. All I knew is that he had stress on a bone, and there is a difference there.”

Brady Sr., who flew into New England Tuesday night in anticipation for the Patriots’ season-opening game against the Chiefs on Sunday, acknowledged that he has not directly asked his son anything further about his injury, so there is a possibility that the information about a cracked bone is accurate.

Based on their previous discussions, Brady Sr. said of his son’s condition that “to the best of my knowledge, there is nothing with his body right now that is going to keep him out of one game for one second.” He also believes that “if there was a broken bone in his foot, they wouldn’t have him doing agility drills.”

Brady Sr. said he saw his son last night and that he is “in fine shape” and “this is nothing that is going to impact him at all.”

“He’s extraordinary optimistic and raring to go,” he added. “He’s champing at the bit."

Brady fully participated in the Patriots' practice on Wednesday, and coach Bill Belichick, speaking with Kansas City-based reporters, said that he expected Brady to be "ready to go" for the season opener.
