Fucking biffed!  Now its 41-3 in the 3rd.  Cowboys are in Bush Geek territory with respect to backing the wrong schlubs.  Complete and utter humiliationism.

Kudos to Wade Phillips for going for that late FG.

Ensured that the 'boys lost by less than 40...

Ought to be a VERY interesting game in Buffalo today.
Winds are currently sustained at 40 mph with gusts to 60!!!

Great football weather!!!

LJ.

Hey LJ,a little off topic. But I understand it's time to say RIP to the AUD? A great old Buffalo venue that the Stones played a few times.

Yes. Tis True. I believe demolition has begun.
Many great memories of Concerts and Sabres games.
In its place, a huge Bass Pro Outlet Shop. That should be a goldmine.  Roll Eyes

LJ.

Congrats to the Dolphins. Unbelieveable they win the Division and the Pats (HA! HA!) go home!!!!

Pats had a good game vs. Buffalo
Despite unusual wind conditions, we were
still able to throw the ball, make good scores.
Dissapointing not to go to the playoffs.
We had very good year despite 15 players
on IR.  Coach B is the master of being able
to bring out the best in players.
Good luck to those who were fortunate
to have gone into the tournament.

Will Brady be back? What's up with Cassel?

Reports as far back as late October, which resurfaced yesterday,
are that Brady's surgery has been compromised by infection.
Best bet is that Cassel will return, being franchised, to lead the
team in '09.  Pats could have $26 mil tied up in two qb's for '09
Good luck to the Matty Ryan Falcons!

Thanks, they did not play well yesterday, yet won somehow. It gets very tense when Arthur Blank goes down to the field. We head to Arizona next week. Glad to be in the tounament.

i like that matt ryan kid. where did you find him?

the vikes haven't had a QB since tarkenton...not counting randall cunningham's one good year....the year of which we must never speak.

Interesting.  I heard on the radio the other day that on average a team has a franchise QB once every 30 years.  I went off the top of my head and listed what I felt was the last franchise QB for each team.  I threw out the last four expansion teams (Browns, Texans, Jax, Carolina) since they have not been around for 30 years.  Also, there are some current QBs I left off since they have yet to prove the test of time.  For example the class of five years ago Eli, Rivers, Ben (No Losman) all of which are on their way.

AFC
Buffalo-Jim Kelly
NY Jets-Joe Namath
NE-Tom Brady
Miami-Dan Marino

Denver-John Elway
San Diego-Dan Fouts
Kansas City-Len Dawson
Oakland-Ken Stabler

Indy-Payton Manning
Tennesse/Houston-Steve McNair

Ravens/Browns-Bernie Kosar
Cincinnati-Julius "Boomer" Esiason
Pittsburgh-Terry Bradshaw

NFC
Chicago-toughest of all...Sid Luckman
Detroit-Bobby Layne
Green Bay-Brett Farve
Minnesota-Fran Tarkenton

Atlanta-Steve Bartkowski
New Orleans-Archie Manning
Tampa Bay-none

Dallas-Troy Aikman
New York Giants-Phil Simms
Philadelphia-Donvan Mcmabb
Washington-Joe Theismann

Arizona/St. Louis-Jim Hart
San Francisco-2 on the same team-Montana/Young
Seattle-Dave Krieg
St. Louis/Los Angeles-Jim Everett (Kurt Warner's tenure was not long enough to be called franchise).

I did this of the top of my head.  If anybody has any additions or corrections feel free to add.  TIA!

Yeah, he did but he played there forever.  Don't worry. I have the feeling he will be replaced on my next list in ten years.

Hello? Knucklehead? Anyone home? Think, McFly!

The Browns have been in the league since 1946, with the exception of a hiatus for three years. It is recognized by the league.

Revisionist historians, always tryin' to diss the Brown and Orange.

What I do know is that you will never see Romo throw another pass to Owens in your life.

I'm a Niner fan SG.....And if we would have beat Arizona a few weeks ago when the Niners had it on the AZ 1 year line and Mike Martz shit the bed. Then we would have the pleasure of losing to ATL...Actually the Cardinals can put up some points. I'd take the over on this one.
