BTW, this was the track list for the show... LOL almost a random selection, my plan was to close with Rough Justice to show how they still rock nowadays
1. Rocks Off
2. Jiving Sister Fanny (single version)
3. Let’s Spend the Night Together
4. Let it Rock (live Masonic Hall with Mick shouting from England the Rolling Fucking Stones!!)
5. The Spider and the Fly (Toshiba studio sessions, Tokyo)
6. Something Happened To Me Yesterday
7. Midnight Rambler (live – Ya Ya’s version)
voodoo...it seems you forgot "gomper".
try to get that on the set list for the 20th anniversary party, will ya?
LOL hope I can do it earlier. The programme was a success (based on the audience participation and the bandwidth consumed)
Unfortunately I couldn't check the message board while broadcasting, next time I'll bring my laptop. If you listen the file again I said that we'll play some songs by request and nobody requested a song
Only two songs were selected before the show, Rocks Off as the opening and Midnight Rambler to close the programme
I selected Jiving Sister Fanny because I needed to mention Allen Klein as a thief and I did it "La Rata de Allen Klein", also because it's a great song and one of the first recorded with Mick Taylor in June 1969
Then it was "Let's Spend The Night Together" mentioning the alternate Ed Sullivan name as "Let's Spend some time together" as it was night in Europe but afternoon in America and early morning down under, also that's a great song that made me remember also when Rocks Off had hyperlinks to listen "The Summer Of Love" webradio stations by the Sunshine Man when we made those webcasts to commemorate the Brian Jones' death anniversaries. I also love that song since it was released.
Let it Rock was selected for many reasons, one to have another "fucking" word in addition to those in Rocks Off "The Rolling fucking Stones" also because it's a very good way to start a show, to have a song with Ronnie Wood and to say it... let it rock you bastards! Also to have a bootleg played
The Spider and the Fly to mention some activities that you could make here, and I'm not saying that we can talk like a spider to the fly hehe but smoking and drinking whatever we want, etc
Something Happened to me Yesterday was an outtake from the last program we made about Brian Jones, so I added it here, also because I took some gel square and something happened to me back then, it was dedicated to the Brian Jones fans here and mentioning our great friend Gerry Seda too.
Well, midnight rambler was a very short broadcast because we talked a lot
