I can't believe that so many people who listen to the old records think that Daryl is the shit, compared to Bill, who is probably the British Phil Lesh in terms of actually playing that thing like a guitar.

There is that joke I heard somewhere about them: Aren't you supposed to sound *funkier* with a black bass player? Compare "Sexdrive."

Especially for a final tour, the combined ticket sales uptick plus the nostalgia value for band and audience would be decisive.

That doesnt require flying! He quit but he didnt stop playing. His band was in Liverpool and playing around the UK. I like Darryl just fine, but he isnt a Stone and he can never be one.
