Isn't this type of behavior expected from them by now? By who? That's a daft thing to say. Holden wrote on Jul 11 th, 2008 at 12:46pm: Let him have his fun. He'll clean up. He always does. There only needs to be one time when he doesn't, and that time is approaching sooner rather than later. He's a 61 year old with ongoing health problems, not a 21 year old. If it wasnt for Jo, he'd have been dead years ago, but hey, as long as he has his fun and the band's hedonistic image remains intact, thats all that counts, eh? I've just always felt that the Stones really don't take their lives (or deaths) too seriously. I always sensed they had a "I hope I die before I get old" attitude, you know? If he's happy about being irresponsible and having fun if it means shaving off 10 years of his life why not let him? Just because he's happy about being like that (and I dont think for one second that he is) doesnt mean he should fuck up the lives of his family (the most important part of all), the future of his bandmates (because make no mistake, if he curls up his toes, it'll be all the reason they need to fold the band) and that of many other people who depend on him for a livelihood. Its not like he's some 18 year old with no responsibilities. If the Stones didnt take life & death too seriously, they wouldnt be still going. I seriously doubt Mick, Charlie and Bill (when he was still in the band) would ever have fallen into that category, anyway.
