I find it hard to believe that two posters that I have always enjoyed trading opinions and laughs with can be in such a fight. Its just a message board for crying out loud guys......

I'm not sure why he threw such a hissyfit. I've actually said nothing about him EVER until the last week. I made some posts about banned posters a couple of months back when the whole gypsy thing happened & someone who had been friendly towards me suddenly got all sassy. I found out recently that he got tossed off "another" boards for bad poster etiquette & it suddenly made sense. When I made the posts in regards to gypsy, he thought I was talking about him. But anyway, I'm off on a vacation to the Southland so I won't (as mostly usual) see his response. I'm sure it'll be a humdinger!!! Y'all enjoy the holiday & turn the Macca shit WAAAAAAAAAY down.

Paul McCartney is sexy!  And, I'd give him a b.j.

P.S.  As much as I love my Micky, I don't think I could do the same for him.

Happy to report that I was at the Liverpool Sound Machine gig Anfield Stadium show on June 1st and it was AMAZING! It was the last show for this venue because they are revitilizing Liverpool and they are building a new stadium. So it was a nostalgic farewell concert for Anfield, and it really was special. Liverpool LOVES PAUL! You can feel the love, Paul is deeply cherished by the Liverpool fans. He's a legend. The police were collecting 'brellies' at the entrance! No umbrellas allowed~ but people were bringing in all sorts of other stuff that the US would have never allowed ~ bottles of liquor and beer & food, no one was checked for guns or knives~ hell at MSG you go thru a metal detector, but in Liverpool it's NO BRELLIES ALLOWED! That still makes me laugh!!

There were 3 acts, all from Liverpool. The Zutons opened and they were cool, they have a female sax player and she was great, they rocked!
The Kaiser Chiefs were next, also very good, they rocked too and the crowd was very familiar with their tunes, most people sang along and knew the lyrics.
Paul started up at 9:10 PM and was introduced as "Sir Paul Mildred McCartney" Mildred?? Thats a girls name isnt it?? OK all I can sday is PAUL can still sing and play and perform, and he gave the caliber of show equal to the Stones on a good day or The Who or Clapton on a great day. PAUL had a great day! He was on top of his game.

Nice 27 SONG SETLIST, the highlights for me are: BABY YOU CAN DRIVE MY CAR, GOT TO GET YOU INTO MY LIFE, "This one is for Linda" MY LOVE (he was in tears and so was the audience), LONG & WINDING ROAD, BLACKBIRD was really sweet, first time performed live, a new ballad called "IN LIVERPOOL" he said "I hope you like it" and it was a cutesy little tune about his early years. FOLLOW THE SUN was played with additional encores because Paul said the song is too short, SOMETHING was done in memory of George Harrison, PENNY LANE, BACK IN THE USSR, LET IT BE, HEY JUDE.  The encores were fabulous ~ YESTERDAY, Paul on accoustic by himself, and then a medley of A DAY IN LIFE/GIVE PEACE A CHANCE which surprised me since I consider Give Peace A Chance a Lennen song, LADY MADONNA & I SAW HER STANDING THERE. Show was A+ tops, my #1 show of the year.

" After 43 Years, Israel Welcomes Paul McCartney "

http://www.maccareport.com/

" Paul McCartney is no longer a threat to Israeli youth.

More than four decades after the Beatle and his famous band mates were told they couldn't perform in Israel for fear that they would corrupt the country's young people, the "Let It Be" singer has signed on for a September concert in either Tel Aviv or Ramat Gan. The big-budget show, first reported by Yediot Aharonot, will follow McCartney concerts in Georgia and Turkey. The show, likely to be the largest and most expensive of the summer, is being organized by David Zarzevski, a promoter behind the Eilat Jazz Festival and recent Tel Aviv-area concerts by Lauryn Hill and Erykah Badu.

The show will mark McCartney's debut concert in Israel, though not his first invitation to perform. The singer and his Beatles counterparts planned a concert in the country in 1965, but they were barred from performing by then-education minister Yaakov Schneider on grounds that the band members might serve as negative role models for the country's youth. (Israeli government approval is no longer needed for performances by foreign artists.)

Israel's current ambassador to England sent letters to McCartney, Ringo Starr and relatives of deceased Beatles George Harrison and John Lennon earlier this year, expressing regret for the incident. The letter to McCartney declared that "Israel missed a chance to learn from the most influential musicians of the decade."
