A blues player, on stage with a band touring behind a reissued album (at least in name only), and one of the greatest blues songs and covers ever recorded by any band on that reissue album, yet, as always, they never fail to not offer some variety.
If they drop Doom and Gloom, they might as well officially retire their post Tattoo You numbers (aside from YGMR on occasion) in the same way that American sports teams retire player numbers.
I know everyone is caught up in the excitement the opening night but that set list is a bad omen for the rest of the tour. It basically means that the set will morph into what they have played played on the last 3 tours.
What was that about playing all of Sticky Fingers and teasing the die hards to buy tickets with that Fonda show? Anyone who thought they will ever do that is out of his/her mind.
