Brian Johnson no quiere más sermones
El cantante de AC-DC atacó a los músicos que asumen actitudes mesiánicas.
A los 62 años, Brian Johnson, el cantante de los inoxidables AC-DC, ya no tiene pelos en la legua. El escocés le dijo al periódico australiano The Daily Telegraph que está harto de las estrellas de rock como Bob Geldolf y Bono que sermonean a su público para que donen dinero a organizaciones de caridad. "Cuando era un trabajador no quería ir a un concierto para que algún bastardo me dijera de manera condescendiente que debería pensar en algún niño en Africa", declaró el cantante, que además se encargó de aclarar que su banda prefería hacer obras de caridad de forma privada y gastar en ello su propio dinero.
"Haz un concierto para la caridad, bien, pero no en la televisión mundial", sentenció el hombre de voz aguardentosa, que en los próximos días se presentará junto a AC-DC en Australia, la tierra adoptiva de los fundadores del grupo, Angus y Malcolm Young.
Además de despotricar contra los roqueros mesiánicos, Johnson se refirió al terrible fantasma del retiro. “Por supuesto no quiero retirarme (...) Pero te digo que si el cuerpo o la voz ya no dan más, no hay nada que pueda hacer. Es una cuestión de orgullo. Tu no quieres defraudarte a ti mismo, a la banda o a los seguidores. Continuaré mientras pueda hacerlo", comentó el hombre que reemplazó al mítico Bon Scott.
Por eso banco tanto a los Stones y AC/DC, x q son solo rock and roll y no demagogia barata...

The only time affable Johnson gets riled is when he's informed of a petition from diehard AC/DC fans angry that the band play the same set every night on their Black Icetour - which becomes an issue when fans travel the world seeing multiple shows.
"F--- them!'' Johnson says. "What about the fans who haven't heard them? There are a few cocky fans. A lot of people now with the computers, they sit on their fat a---s in their house somewhere going 'Oh they played that song last night, they should change it'. Well, bollocks to you. I don't think they realise changing a song in a set now is not the same as it used to be.
"When you include all the lighting guys, the stagehands, the technicians - there are 85 guys who have to know what's happening if you change a song.

...cuando un par de añitos atras y estando en Bs As esos dias (por el ABB tour) ni se me cruzó por la cabeza ir a ver a U2 :? , y menos mal que no fui... hubiera armado algún quilombo cuando lo hubiese escuchado al impresentable farsante de Bono decirnos por su pantalla gigante "Felicitaciones por la nueva Argentina (K)" :x ¡Maldito idiota :evil: !
