La versión de Jimmy Hendrix del tema "All Along the Watchtower", original de Bob Dylan, fue catalogada como el mejor cover de la historia de la música, según varios críticos musicales del Reino Unido en colaboración con el periódico Daily Telegraph

 

La primera premisa para entrar en el ranking de las 50 mejores versiones de un tema ya grabado por otro artista era que tuviera personalidad propia. Según el Daily Telegraph, Jimmy Hendrix de un tema normal "consiguió hacer una gran canción".

 

En segunda posición se clasificó "You were always on my mind" versionada por Pet Shop Boys, tema que en el pasado habían interpretado por separado Elvis Presley y Brenda Lee.

 

En tercera posición se ubicó Sid Vicious, con su particular versión de "My way", que antes popularizaran Frank Sinatra y Paul Anka.

ayer llegaron los libido ( grupo peruano con 2 lenguas mtv ,,bla bla bla )de masterizar su nuevo disco en nueva york .......eso fue a manos de TED JENSEN ..(ha trabajado con todos los nombres de la industria )

 EL LIDER de la banda  me conto que TED le comento que masterizo solo  2 temas de los STONES hace unos dias posiblemente el single de salida y la de bonus .
  no le dijo como se llamaba el disco ni las canciones pero que estaban muy buenas y que jagger estaba de un humor unico  ,  (se quitaba  15 años de edad y cosas por el estilo )
 mick estaba muy positivo y satisfecho con el nuevo trabajo que muy pontro vera la luz
a esperar

Una audiencia de 250,000 personas , teoricamente un tributo a brian quien fallecio 2 dias antes  . Mick Jagger leyo un extracto de Percy Bysshe Shelley's 'Adonais' y se lanzaron 3,500 mariposas semi asfixiadas; fue la primera vez que  Mick Taylor toco con  Stones.

 King Crimson toco antes en este concierto gratuito .

algunas ideas :

  - brian debio estar en ese concierto sonriendo y por ahi tocar un tema y dejarle la posta a taylor

  - el concierto fue idea de MICK cuando vio a los CREAM en hyde park con muchisimo publico . se pacto antes y serviria de presentacion a MICK TAYLOR

- la fotografia de brian casi ni se ve en las filmaciones

- mick y keith no fueron al entierro de brian solo bill y charlie ( ok australia .......  bla bla bla )

 no me parece muy justo que ese fue el unico tributo de la banda al fundador

bueno le dedicaron un compilatorio through a past darkly y 20 segundos  antes de entrar al salon de la fama...me parece muy poco ( una cancion o estrofa hubier asido justa no ? )..... que diferencia los pink floyd con syd barret que vive aun
