15 de febrero de 1999: Se declara el Día  de Los Rolling Stones en Minnesota.
El homenaje a la banda liderada por Mick Jagger y Keith Richards fue  pergeñado por el gobernador de Minessotta en ese entonces, Jesse Ventura, quien en su juventud fue guardaespaldas de la banda.

¿tenemos antecedentes de esto?

Stones Pleased As Ex-Employee Ventura Decrees "Rolling Stones Day"

Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura issued a proclamation making Monday (2/15) Rolling Stones Day in Minnesota, in honor of the band's return to the state to perform a show at the Target Center Monday night. Ventura, a former bodyguard for the band in the late 70's and early 80's, had a high-profile career in professional wrestling where he was nicknamed "The Body" before embarking on a winning campaign for the governorship of the state.

As Stones frontman Mick Jagger arrived via private jet for the concert, a publicist showed him the proclamation which, among other things, honored the band for ''Keith Richards still being alive.''
''He's done us proud, hasn't he?'' said Jagger.
