Also Germany-Paraguay tonight, I'm slightly second-hand embarrassed already cause I don't think we'll make it with that fucking attitude...it's always what's missing from the German team ever since like 2012 or so...I know we won the WC in 2014 but this was a team where everyone had each other's back, really good team spirit... but what I really miss is the fighting spirit that a Ballack or Frings or Kahn brought to the pitch... those younger players nowadays are too overpaid, they're too lazy to run and fight and get dirty and players from smaller countries still have that cause they're playing for their honour, for something bigger, they still have that grit

Didn't see this, very unforrunate for Japan, I hate when this happens to a small team...I'm currently watching the Djokovic match against a Chinese player who is giving the Joker a good run for his money in the 2nd set because Djokovic simply doesn't seem to manage a break point atm but I bet he's simply holding back and preserving energy

Tbh I wasn't surprised in the slightest to see Germany leave, this wasn't a team, it was merely an assortment of random players from different clubs...I don't really think the coach is good either, so... maybe they can bring Löw back for the next Euro 🤣 he was my fave coach of those I do remember (since Völler in 2002, this was the first WC I consciously remember as a kid)

I've just seen the Germany disallowed goal and no way was that a foul. Keeper backed into the player. This happens all the time in the English Premier League and I've never seen one disallowed. Germany were robbed in my opinion

On a separate note I've just seen that Netherlands are out as well. I dont have much hope for England.

Even if they'd gotten that goal then maybe Paraguay would have scored again and the result would be the same now after penalties, and if not, then France would have fucking demolished us...imo they're the strongest team, I'm betting on them...haven't watched England play yet but I guess they'll at least make it to 1/4 final...then it depends on whether Mick will be there watching 😉
