I couldn't go, so I'm going to play my
LASER DISC
!!! The sound is spectacular, love the scene before going on stage, and the performance of many songs like "2000 Light Years from Home" and "Paint it Black"

Here my Laser Disc ready!

Was really bummed not to be living in a big city anymore when this was in cinemas last week because of course here in the countryside there is no IMAX cinema... guess I'll just get the DVD eventually in order to see it at all since I haven't so far

Back in the day I had no idea what the setlist was.
When the first note of 2000 played and the fog showed I was blown away, totally unexpected. And then followed up with Mick up top singing ow ow ow leading to Sympathy was jaw dropping to me and my niece who was seeing them the first time.
That 2 song segue is one if not the coolest moments of all the dozens of times I’ve seen them. Still gives me chills.

The Stones are life, the rest is just details.

I recall seeing this when it first came out.
There were only a limited number of IMAX theaters at specialty venues (mostly museums).
We went to Mystic Seaport in Connecticut...I am pretty sure thats where we went, lol.

I have not seen it since.
I dont like 3D movies (better wear a trashbag if you sit next to me)...planetariums aside, I haven't been to an IMAX in decades.
Glad to hear the film still holds up with folks.
