On March 18, 1965, after two shows at the ABC Theatre in Romford (East London), The stones (except Charlie) were fined £3 to £5 each for pissing on the wall of a London gas station
Bill Wyman wearing dark glasses at night asked, “Where can we have a leak here?", he was refused the use of the restrooms due to his appearance and language.
According to Bill, from his book “Stone Alone: "Absolutely bursting to go, I returned to the car, where I explained what had happened, Mick took my hand and said, 'Come on, Bill, we'll find you a toilet.' Then Mick, myself, Joey Page and Brian returned to the attendant and asked him once more if we could use the toilet. He started screaming at us." So, Mick replied with the now classic "We piss anywhere, man…" and the Stones except Charlie, that was sleeping in the car, repeated the phrase singing and pissing in the wall.
The police arrived immediately; the attendant described Wyman as "a shaggy-haired monster wearing dark glasses at night”, the Stones were charged and released
Picture shows Charlie as we couldn’t find a picture of the rest pissing “somewhere”, or pissing "there";
Charlie was the only one who didn't piss the station
