SERIOUSLY, think about the billion dollar tsunami of publicity
that will result from 68 year-old Patti succeeding 27 year-old
Sydney Sweeney as the Stones new video vixen

thats a great angle, but also slightly misleading, as the video
will feature a chronological montage of great images/vids of Patti
(many of course with Keith)

it will be a long-overdue celebration of the greatest marriage
in rock n roll history. there's been maybe a dozen women who
contributed significantly to both the substance and essence
of the Rolling Stones, but she is the only famous one who was
never in it for her own glory. She just loved her husband
(and saved his life with her love multiple times...)

...AND THUS SAVED THE ROLLING STONES MULTIPLE TIMES

let Patti finally take her proper place at the very top of the
very impressive list of Stones women. Both among fans and
in the world's enduring mythology of the Rolling Stones

For the 2nd time today, my brainstem is being rocked by
strong gravitational waves...

People don't realize yet how big the coming changes are

You  may recall that I've been wishing on these pages since
Sept 2021 that the Stones become once again a 5-man outfit

but the fans werent ready. the world wasnt ready.

but now they are ready. time changes things...

one thing i suck at is timing. i can often see thru the bullshit
and know where we're headed. but i have no idea whether
what i'm seeing is six months or six years away. no depth
perception...

and if there is one thing Mick is preternaturally great at, its
timing. He can avoid doing an album for 15 years because
he knows the album market has been rigged against the Stones,
and then, when the moment is right, when an opening appears,
he can drive that new album home in a matter of a few months

so, for Steve and Darryl, this is finally the year. as part of the
HD2 marketing campaign.  Steve can even carry a good part
of the exhausting repetitive interview schedule. Even when
mick and keith are sitting right there next to him. Steve's
great at NOT being charming, but rather just telling it like it is.
This will be, depending on your point of view, either a fun
new wrinkle or simply a slight return to Stones-normal

so thank you Mick and Keith for continuing to push the envelope
for all us sinners!

as i reported earlier, the album was completed a few weeks
ago. what they are working on now is promotional material,
photos videos alt-mixes/edits/versions etc, maybe even a
b-side or bonus track

well, we're not just in post-production now, we're in
post-post-production. so just like with HD1, its mostly
just mick and andrew now. but ronnie might've been there
two days ago, then quickly dispersed by private jet to honor
a previous commitment. Steve and Darryl as an example
might be holed up in a swanky LA rent-a-home, on call day
and night. Keith might be just plain "gone fishin" and not
re-appear until they start pre-recording interviews...
