I just counted the amount of interviews each of the guys did based on that list on IORR and the stuff I've watched/read myself:
Mick: 28 Keith: 14 Ronnie: 14
The only interview that both Mick and Ronnie did that Keith didn't do was with BBC2 radio one because it's based in London, but they literally could have just called him if they wanted to interview him, I don't think it's on Keith that he wasn't included here...
Then Ronnie did an interview with Jimmy Fallon (remember Mick "only" did the skit) and Keith wasn't on Jimmy Fallon but I can't say I blame him since Fallon is hella annoying, maybe Keith just didn't wanna bother with him (or be bothered by him)
So imo I can't see a trend at all here that Keith isn't doing much/refusing to promote the album, it's obvious most reporters would wanna talk to Mick because he's the frontman, he's always been most prominent in interviews and press conferences ever since the 60s...I remember watching this press conference from 1972 in Amsterdam with Mick, Keith, and Mick T and Keith literally wasn't even bothering to reply to the press, the only one he talked to is Mick, so I'm honestly not surprised that Mick still is doing the most interviews nowadays
Also calling Keith senile or claiming there must be something wrong with him mentally because he held the mic away from his mouth during the album announcement in NYC when they literally were in the worst venue ever with a terrible echo, it's just utterly ridiculous and frankly insulting and disrespectful towards Keith, each and every one of us probably would have reacted the same way, I know I would have (seeing how fucking irrritating it always is when I'm on a videocall at work and can hear my own voice through a colleague's speaker) it's weird and unsettling and no wonder Keith couldn't focus properly on the questions...
Those people mustn't have watched the Apple interview, which was fucking great, I'd encourage anyone who hasn't watched this yet to do so, Keith was great and funny and way sharper than 15 years ago when still drunk 24/7... so yeah obviously there is nothing at all wrong with Keith, and everything is fine between Mick and Keith as well, the only thing that's wrong is what's happening in the brains of some IORRians
