I'm happy for you Rev that you're enjoying this album after you didn't like HD that much, I feel very sorry for everyone who somehow cannot enjoy FT and see its brilliance
But I have a theory, it's just based mostly on some observations I made and also talking to my Stones friends who're all around my age (early/mid 30s)...
So I observed that those few people who unfortunately don't like FT 99% seem to be older fans, like 65+ year olds who have been fans forever and who say their favourite albums are the ones from the 60s with Brian
Meanwhile me and my friends all absolutely adore FT, yet neither I nor them have any of those early/mid-60s albums even anywhere near our top 10 Stones album list... actually I'd go as far as dare say that I don't really listen much to anything before Beggar's Banquet...my top 3 fave Stones albums of all time are Let it Bleed, Exile and Sticky Fingers in that exact order
I think it's pretty daring, Rev, to say it's the best album since Exile

...for me it's the best since Some Girls, I don't really listen to Tattoo You that much for some reason altho it undoubtedly has some great songs
So I guess my updated top 10 list is:
Let it Bleed
Exile
Sticky Fingers
Some Girls
Goats Head Soup
Black and Blue
Foreign Tongues
Steel Wheels
Dirty Work (yes I know I'm weird for rating it so high but I love it)
Hackney Diamonds
(and after that Voodoo Lounge, Tattoo You, Emotional Rescue, A Bigger Bang)
