Also could this mean they want to make themselves more independent of the stabdard touring mechanism of insurances, greedy concert promoters and blabla and rather paying for stuff themselves just so they can assure that things run properly and they get what they want without having to deal with too many limiting factors?

If this also entails that they can sell tickets solely over their website without having to rely on idiotic dynamic pricing and ridiculous add on taxes, then please bring it on! There are some bands that sell tickets over their own websites in order to be fairer to their fans... uhhh maybe this is the only way they could do residencies, ig they avoid working with the usual promoters and ticket websites, because they would make smaller venues really fucking expensive and who can pay like 2k for one ticket in this fuckong economy?

Mick wouldn't say they're working on something when they actually aren't, I think they've learned that thebpress will keep haunting them for answers otherwise lol

So according to AI the fact that it's UK-based leads to the assumption that naturally it's gonna be a Euro tour/assembly if residencies? (Cause they wanted to do Europe next and they usually stick to that kinda stuff)

Tbh I'd be more than happy about 5 shows in London and 5 in Paris, minimal travelling involved for the guys and also not hard to reach for most European fans...also they could add 5 in Spain for the southern European fans plus the Argentinians who will fly anywhere anyway 😅 makes 15 dates but not in 15 different countries/cities, let's hope Keith would be okay with something like that

Tbh... if thinking most realistically about this, I guess it would be most practicable for Keith's sake to play shows in NYC and London...they could rehearse a month in NYC, Keith gets to go home each night...then play shows in NYC followed by 1-2 weeks break...afterwards play shows in London, Keith still has Redlands and some of his kids+grandkids living in the London area, so he'd be most at home in these 2 places

I've been talking about a scenario like this on the Shidoobee FB group some months ago and Keith's daughter Angela liked my post lol, so she seems to agree 🤪

Btw Rev I highly doubt Mick is threathing to do anything, it's more than clear that they want to tour all together, even Keith proposed the idea of residencies himself now, meanwhile Mick said he cannot force Keith to go on tour...we aren't in the mid-80s or late 2000s anymore...Mick and Keith are in a completely different place and actually respect each other and care about each other, and Mick knows that he also can't even tour without Keith, at least not under the Stones name, but not enough people want to see Mick solo, they want to see the Stones and the Stones is mainly Mick+Keith these days

so I think as Mick said, he can't and won't force Keith to do anything BUT he certainly would try accomodate him and now probably he realised it's time to forgo these huge stadium tours for another format, as Keith called if

My work involves regular visits on the Comanies House website.  There are a lot of music artists on there so every now and again I will.check to see if the Stones get involved withe setting up a limited company.

Today I got lucky.

Mick wants to tour but can't because Keith won't; Keith wants to play, or is open-minded to it in public, and mentions residencies as a possibility; Mick said at some point he has no interest in residencies, but now, in 2026, with Keith refusing to tour, Mick will have to budge if he wants to ply his craft on a big stage; I take it, drawing inferences from rumors, Mick is softening his stance against residencies.

Maybe he sees several shows -- mini residencies -- in three locations on three continents as a different species from the Vegas caricature he had in mind when he said no residencies.

This all seems pretty obvious, based on the interviews.

Whether Keith can do a 90-120 minute show (in 2027) is a separate discussion.

Seems like venues need to be booked way in advance these days, which would be why we're already hearing rumors and Mick says they're working on something.

Who says Mick set it up for just himself? I think that's not Mick Jagger solo act related but entirely Stones related, as I said/wondered about above, maybe with a company like that it's easier to plan residencies the way they are imagining it instead of having to rely solely on big promoters and ticketing websites...that's my interpretation

Also they announced the album in April as well, if they want to pull this through for real this time and not mess up again with logistics like in 2025, then they better do actually already work on this now and try to book venues, so it's not a surprise at all this was created in April, I mean they hopefully won't be as stupid as to wait so fucking long again while 500 other artists are booking venues and announcing their shows before them, you don't have to be a genius to understand that they won't find available venues like that anymore if they wait until the last possible moment...so maybe that's also why they created this company to be more intependent of insurances, who seem to have been one of the other limiting factors in the past, if I recall correctly, they paid insurance for the 2024 tour themselves and this is why Keith had to play the first few shows altho he was barely over Covid, because cancelling/rescheduling would have been too expensive

right demographic. I don't think you'll get lodging, but you will

I still don't know about this...it's a bit weird, I just googled it, why are there only chances to win it for certain countries via official music labels like Universal (I found a link for Australia) or Polydor (for France) but then for Switzerland you get directed to a really sketchy website I personally wouldn't enter my data in...and for Germany I find 2 separate things: listening parties on the 9th of July in 4 big German cities and the chance to win this London thing but the only one offering a chance to win this trip is a radio channel from Brandenburg...I mean??? That's really fucking weird, if it were such a big thing as you're imagining, Rev, why won't the Stones just post it on their socials with a link to their official website?

Cause that's what they would and should do if it really was such a big marketing event featuring what you call the right demographic, I assume gen Z and millennials who will film everything with their phones and post it on Instagram

Then on the other hand I was thinking they probably don't want the songs leaked on mobile recordings ahead of the release and you'll probably have to habd in your phone before you enter the place, so no recordings, no social media hype, no marketing hype

I went on Universal Germany and they only have a chance to win tickets for one of the listening Events in a German city the day before release...this is total bs tbh why would people from Australia and Japan have a chance to win a trip to London via the official record label but people from other countries not at all (I mean think of all the South American fans) and people from Germany only get those German city events via Universal? This is fucking weird...I stay with my word, if they wanted it to be a big thing they'd advertise it via their official channels and also I think that only perhaps with loads of luck Ronnie would show up but leave the rest to Matt and Chanel xD

Tbh that whole thing comes across like the R&T white vinyl thing in April, only certain countries even got coordinates to record stores, the poor people in hardcore fan countries like Argentina were neglected, then people inncoordinate countries got real excited just to wait houes in fromt of the record store to find out there only qere 2 copies...complete bs... if they really want fans to be excited about a big event like that thet should give everyone a chance to win, maybe have 10 (and each a plus 1) winners from all over the world by having people enter their data on the official Stones website and not some radio channel that nobody even knows...

Interesting, let's see about that Cheesy I mean both songs will be out on Friday, won't they? Seeing how Divine Interventin is the B side on Jealous Lover, it also should be available on Friday everywhere?

I also read in some reviews that apparently Mr. Charm is a masterpiece and that altho it was rumoured to be one of the singles it's better they only release it with the album so that people only will get to hear it then cause it's apparently such a surprise for 80 year olds to come up with a song like that...so we'll see 😅

I'm sorry but I think this is total AI halluzination bullshit 🤣🤣 (also how does AI even know this belongs to Mick to 75% like it's stated nowhwre on the website, it clearly just made up some random fake news here)

The sole purpose of naming the company Scutts Touring LLT imo is to not have to use the Stones name or one of their names in order to not attract any attention at this point...they just as well could have called it Dupree Touring but I bet more people know about Keith's grandpa's name than about Mick's mum's maiden name...

I'd literally bet money that Mick won't do a solo tour (if I had money to bet on rn but I got a house to build) because he hasn't made any serious solo efforts in ages and I bet he'd rather star in another 3 movies than actually come up with a solo tour... this is 150% Stones related cause everythign Mick, Keith and Ronnie have said so far in interviews leads to this conclusion, you don't need to be a detective to see this

at least 75% of this new touring company.

I have not claimed that this means Mick is going to do a solo tour.

I have claimed that this means Mick is preparing for such a
contingency, should it seem to him the best way forward in
his career as a performing artist...

Okay, I admit I did not know that there was a PDF attached in a subsite of the website that was posted before which is holding more info, but I saw it now...however I still don't see it as a confirmation to Mick setting up solo stuff instead of Stones stuff...I think it's him who signed for the company because he's always done the business side of the Stones and Keith himself said it doesn't interest him, so he just let's Mick handle all those things, actually I remember Keith saying once he just looks at whatever Mick did and then signs it because that's how little he cares about business stuff, he's just there for the music

Actually, I will dare to say that we will see a Keith solo show before we will see a Mick one, I even know when it will happen...well not a whole show but him (+ the Winos) playing a few songs on 1st October on Buddy Guy's 90th bday celebrations:

Steve is the music director for this, so I guess it's almost 99.9% safe to say that Keith will be one of the so far not mentioned special guests (granted he is fit and healthy on October 1st)
