The other thing is that, over the years, I've heard people talk about how Mick was copying Prince with emotional rescue and even with Sweet Thing, but not only did he sing falsetto since Mercy Mercy, but ahem, he did this well before Prince or almost anyone else in the rock'n'roll world.

Shame, I've searched for musician/producer credits but come up empty...

So let the guessing games begin (I am not a musician or any kind of expert)

I'll guess its Steve doing his best Charlie imitation

and because the bass is dead center in the pocket, I'll guess its
Darryl and not Bill. No wobble that I can hear.

and although it sounds to me like Andrew definitely contributed to the
sound and mix, I'm gonna guess that the producer credit remains
"glimmer twins"

Who really knows what is copied or replaced or added in a mix.
Hopefully it was BP doing the tinkling near the beginning of Cracy Mama on the 'Live On Elle Macpherso9 ' disc from 1977., surely a better version (just) than the original and it's last minute being the early height of the new Weave Groove.
