Re. the Gimme Shelter mentions above... The version I have sounds very similar to the version mentioned by Goo above. It's on an olde CD with 'The Creme Of The Hot Stuff', 'Unobtainable Golden Stones' and 'Collector's Gold' with a dandy selection on much of it, including stuff like the acecate-version of 'Jiving Sistah Fanny', which I presume was sidelined because Taylor & Hopkins were too good/smooth that day or it was slighly too Sasha Baron Cohen opr parody Muddy Waters in it's negrescence, but great lines like "she's got the shower-curtain, she's gotr the red-foot...'' etc. There's, on the CD cover, the comic/saucy 1976 S&M photo.. But 'ronnie-wood' above has it arse-backwards, surely, as it sounds like Keith singing most of it and , maybe as his backing-vocal recording done originally or a guide for Jogger or whatevs. Anyway, it is Keith firstly and mainly. He did wrfite the song/words, supposedly, anyway; while MJ was displaying his winkie theatrically in the presence of Nicholas and Pally. Sorry to rattle on so much. But a key moment in keys/key-changes, innit?
