So now that this tour is wrapped up as well, what were some special or your favourite moments, experiences or impressions that you had this tour that will always stay in your mind? some of mine: literally going to another continent for the first time in my life just to see those grandpas play live again definitely is no. 1 lol, yes I am officially one of those fans now it was basically the greatest adventure I ever went on and it was overall incredible to get so many different and new impressions of another country, see cool new places, meet amazing new people, make new friends! And a bit more specific (I'm probably forgetting some things anyway): - being there when Keith first played TMS live and it was such a wonderful version!
- the utter joy among all of us pit crew when we were waiting for entry at Metlife 2 and they soundchecked Rambler, it was incredible how everyone just freaked out and was looking forward to getting to hear it
- almost freezing in Foxboro before the show but then as soon as they started playing Emotional Rescue during the soundcheck, everyone jumped up and started dancing and the cold was forgotten in an instant
- getting to hear so many songs live for the first time, not only the HD ones but also e.g. Heartbreaker, Emotional Rescue and Dead Flowers were total highlights! Oh and Little T&A, that riff sounds fucking awesome live!
- SSOH!! Mick and Chanel performing together, what a great sight for the eyes and wonderful treat for the ears! I especially loved when Mick walked out onto the catwalk in Foxboro and prompted the audience to give him "some little lights" and the way he smiled utterly contented when he saw all the smartphone lights flashing up around the stadium
- Keith's background vocals on Wild Horses, so beautiful...and also especially when they did it at Metlife 2 and Mick and Keith were wearing matching outfits <3
- JJF in Foxboro! Best version I ever heard live, Keith's guitar was so loud the sound basically cut down to your bone...incredible
- seeing the soundcheck in Orlando, I never saw it before, only heard it, was amazing to see Mick basically sing the entirety of Tumbling Dice turned to Keith and then Mick, Keith and Ronnie standing together and jamming during WWW
- hearing Rambler at least twice out of four shows after fearing that they wouldn't play it at all this tour, the way Keith enjoyed Mick's harp play in Foxboro and also the fact Mick changed some od the interlude lyrics this tour! Rambler in Boston overall was among the top 3 versions I heard live so far!
- enjoying Miss You live for the very first time, mostly because of Mick's harp solo
- Keith and Ronnie playing so much better than in 2022, even tho Keith alrrady played great in 2022
- seeing how much joy they're still having doing what they love most...when Keith smiles, I smile <3
Here's to hoping everyone will stay as fit and sharp as they currently are and that we don't have to wait too long for more news about the European tour!
