Number of songs per record you actually enjoy listening to regularly

Alert Board Moderator about this Post!
As mentioned in that other thread, I'm always judging records by the number of songs I don't skip. The less songs I skip on an album when regularly listening to it, the better the album is overall in my opinion. Apparently others have the same approach, so I just wanted to give everyone who likes to do this a space to list the records they're regularly listening to (or even all the records) and the number of songs you genuinely like and don't skip out of all the songs on the record.

I'm starting with Aftermath because all the albums before that contain mostly covers and I don't really listen to them much tbh (I only listen to Satisfaction at concerts or when it randomly comes on on the radio xD)

Aftermath - 5/11
Between the Buttons - 5/12
Satanic Majesties - 1/10 (worst album ever  Lips Sealed)
(Tbh I don't reallt listen to anything before Beggars Banquet that much)
Beggars Banquet - 6/10
Let it Bleed - 9/9
Sticky Fingers - 10/10
Exile - 18/18 (for real, I like all of them by now but it took me like 3 years to fully bw able to apprecciate its beauty and greatness, one of the good things that happened during lockdown, going for walks and falling in love with this record)
Goats Head Soup - 9/10 (I don't really listen to Angie often)
IORR - 4/10
Black and Blue - 7/8 (I don't like Cherry Oh Baby)
Some Girls 9/10 (never listen to Lies for some reason)
Emotional Rescue - 7/10 (it took me ages to warm up to this album but now I finally love most songs and don't understand why I didn't before. Down in the Hole!!!)
Tattoo You - 5/11 (I should give the whole thing another listen and another chance)
Unercover 2/10 (I gave it another listen a few weeks ago and just can't get into it at all...worst album since Satanic Majesties)
Dirty Work - 7/10 (dunno why most hate it, I don't think it's that bad, it's my album to work out to lol)
Steel Wheels - 9/12
Voodoo Lounge - 10/15
Bridges to Babylon - 5/13
A Bigger Bang - 5/16
Hackney Diamonds - 11/12 (even tho I like Mess it Up A LOT live, I just don't fancy those synthesizers on the record a lot)

It all started, so what now seems such a long TIME ago, with the Ed Sullivan show.  I was just beginning my teenage years and my older brother (my musical guru) and myself started to become interested in the Beatles and a band that called themselves The Rolling Stones from seeing them on Ed Sullivan. We hadn’t heard about them before. A little later there was a Beatles movie and we picked up the HELP album when it was released. So yes, we did start to buy Beatles albums before buying Stones albums.

The first Stones album we bought was Big Hits (High Tide & Green Grass) and to put it mildly my older brother was blown away. He started calling himself a Stones fan. Shortly thereafter we bought another new album (albums were released much more frequently back then) called Aftermath. We both (especially my brother) was stunned by the quality. In fairness we were also stunned earlier by the Beatles Rubber Soul album. Yet for us, we were definitely Stones fans and so this is how a lifetime of addiction to Stones music began. In short, we were second generation fans. A toast (some Hillside Select?) to the that very first generation of Stones fans who bought their very first releases, who discovered them & led the way. Also a toast to Ed Sullivan.

One note about Aftermath. There were two different releases- the superior UK release and the inferior US release. Will be using UK release

Starting with a nod first to Big Hits as this was the first album we bought when it was newly released.

Big Hits (High Tide & Green Grass) US version (12/12)
Aftermath UK version (14/14)
Between the Buttons UK version (12/12)
Their Satanic Majesties Request (7/10)

Beggars Banquet (10/10)
Let it Bleed (9/9)
Sticky Fingers(10/10)
Exile on Main St (18/18)
Goats Head Soup (8/10)

It’s only Rock n Roll (6/10)
Black and Blue (4/8)
Some Girls (10/10)
Emotional Rescue (6/10)

Tattoo You (11/11)
Undercover (4/10)
Dirty Work (4/10)

Steel wheels (7/12)
Voodoo Lounge (8/15)
Bridges to Babylon (8/13)
A Bigger Bang (6/16)
Blue and Lonesome (12/12)
Hackney Diamonds (11/12)

1) its might be true, that amongst long-timers, i am probably the one
who loves Outtakes the most and Hackney the least

2) and that kinda makes sense as i was still deep into (half of)
Outtakes when Hackney was released, and the aesthetics
of these two records are very different, perhaps even diametrically
opposed...

its like when it took me a long time to appreciate Blue & Lonesome
because i was still locked into Rihanna's Anti (currrently at #119 on
Billboard after 423 weeks)

3) i've also noticed that the 24 Outtakes i most liked (and compiled into
a personal album) did not include many of other people's favorite
songs.  I got most excited about the tracks with the raw Keith-Charlie
energy, in the midst of creation, with Mick and everybody else hanging
onto the locomotive.  For me, it is Exile-type energy from a time
period long after i thought keith could still deliver at that high a level.

4) so if you do delve into Outtakes you may also enjoy the
original RocksOff thread...

https://rocksoff.org/cgi-bin/messageboard/YaBB.pl?num=1614794609/0

...in which thread i tried hard to transcribe the lyrics for, and do
cover art for, each of my favorite 24 tracks

...
