Atlanta, Houston, Vegas, Glendale were the prettiest so far imo, the Boston Cream Pie one had something, kinda reminds me of  the Let It Bleed cover

That design is ugly. For the first time ever, I may not buy merchandise at a show.

I'm in the dark about the set list. I've managed to avoid it all tour.

My plan is to eat lunch and then hit the road and see what I can see.

To me is not just the worst design ever, I don't see any relation with "The Thinker" by Rodin, unless it was relecoated to Philly???

Also I'm very fucking sleepy this morning for some reason and only spotted now that they played Rambler again! Instead of interchanging it with Miss You...maybe Rambler is easier for Mick to sing when his throat isn't okay? Or maybe they just finally realised that it's SO much better than Miss You

Edit: I just watched MR and this answers my prior question...Mick doesn't have to sing much, he didn't even clap and wave as much as usual, in between he soent a long time drinking or blowing his nose at one point....

but what was even more surprising, I just also watched LSTNT and it was only the 3rd song but in some close-ups Mick already seemed completely done and he was breathing way hesvier than usual at this point of a show...he definitely is under the weather (alas also why this song again because almost half the band is providing backup vocals)...hope he'll be feeling better soon!!

It was a great show! If Mick was off it was only by a slight fraction of a degree. I thought his voice sounded pretty strong. He may have some issues hitting his upper range due to allergies or something, but the big shock for me is how great Keith has been sounding on this tour. He's in great voice and his playing is fire. Long gone are the days of concern from him falling from the palm tree.

Also, Chantel Haynes is a star! While she does not have the range or vocal prowess of Lisa Fisher in her prime, she makes up for it with a still incredible voice and an amazing stage presence. She really plays it up well and is a great foil for Mick on Gimme Shelter. The fact that she is drop dead gorgeous is a bonus.

What can I say about this show?

They are on another level of brilliance. There's no signs of aging, slowing down, rust, nothing.

They define everything about the genre.  They are the genre.

To hear them last night was to hear master musicians at work. Master showmen.

Internet videos didn't capture the magic of Philly.

Special kudos to Darryl, who had that bassline pumping all night. A low, thunderous earthquake. Best I've ever heard him. Chanel Haynes - a beautiful woman with killer vocals and stage presence. I love her style.

A tip for those going into the pit. I was silent and sat on the floor for several hours before the show started. Calm and silent. Once it started, my dopamine level skyrocketed and I let out a primal scream like a war cry. Then the dancing started. Hip thrusting, punching the air style dancing.

There was one drunk who tried to get my spot on the rail but she got pushed back three times by a group of us. Nobody fucked with me the rest of the night.

Dance and sing like it's your last night on earth and you'll be fine.

Chanel Haynes, new for this tour. She filled in, in Italy, last Euro tour gir the one nite. She was fired from her day job for doing so.

Shrewd move, on her part. An unexpected hedged bet, to say the least.

A memory I wanted to add to this thread - seeing Mick declare "FUCK YEAH!" at the end of a song. Amazing. They nailed whatever it was and he was loving it.

It's so adorable to see them like that, also spotting all the love ans support they have for each other <3 Keith is always watching Mick dance and looks very happy and they're smiling at each other a lot, and there was a moment during YCAGWYW in Cleveland (or Philly? One of both) where Ronnie played an incredible solo and Mick and Keith were standing there, Mick with his arm on Keith's, and they were both beaming at Ronnie like proud parents, it's was so sweet <3
