So, I'm just watching a livestream of Rock am Ring, the biggest rock festival in Germany. Earlier Billy Talent (one of my favourite younger bands whom I've seen live like 3 times) was playing and right now Green Day (whom I was a huge fan of 20 years ago when I just started middle school and have never seen live) is on stage.

And watching these guys who are 30-40 years younger than the Stones once more makes me apprecciate the Stones and what thet do even more, cause wtf?? Those guys are barely even moving around at all compared to Mick, Keith and Ronnie!! I mean, even Keith on a bad day is moving more than those younger guys, it's insane! Also they just play 90 minute sets and not 2h...

Anyone complaining about Keith not moving better watch some of those younger bands and then they probably wouldn't complain anymore about what a bunch of 80 yos is still able to deliver...they're still and always will be the greatest live band in the world. I mean Billy Talent always gives me great joy live, it's an entirely different experience from the Stones, because as a fan you basically jump up and down the entire time and leave the show sweaty, thirsty and barely able to walk anymore, which makes it even crazier that the band themselves don't really move at all 

Idk this is just an observation I wanted to share  because it made me realise once again how freaking special and unique it is what the Stones are delivering every show and we can be so so grateful that they are still around to do this <3
