It was a hit just because of the film “The Exorcist.”

The music is great, another mood, not the Stones, but the music, the sound and the performance are top quality. For those who love the period between psychedelia and progressive rock, there (in the video) you have a lot a great musicians from extraordinaire bands.

As I wrote above, this is one of the progressive rock contributions by Mick Taylor, he also worked later with some of the musicians on “Tubular Bells”, here some samples (I have the LPs and they all are great, but I repeat, not the stones, it’s only prog rock, but I like it!

Here some samples:

Heavy Tune by Gong, album Expresso II (1978)

and

What you know by Gong, album Downwind (1979), the song is not great but the guitar solo is

Pierre Moerlen, the guy playing tubular bells and percussions in the video, is the drummer on several tracks on Mick Taylor's first album

So sorry about this, but the release is not official.

It's available everywhere including Amazon, but is unofficial. I was trying to listen to it first on streaming platforms and it's not there, I asked Burning Shed and they replied me this: "Like the Pink Floyd ones it’s not an official release but it’s available through a reputable distribution company."

But here some songs with Mick Taylor and Pierre Moerlen
