OK...this is UK centric, that I get...and I have not been to the UK since 2017...(Gratefully hanging out with Gazza in Dublin and Belfast).
but are there that many places to purchase a "physical" single??
This does confuse me...as ALL charts do these days.
I dont know anyone under 30-40 that actually "buys" music any longer, physical or digital.

I understand there is a bit of resurgence for CDs...as my friends daughter asks for my CDs when I was
tossing them into the trash last year.
I shipped 700 CDs to her...cost her old man about $150...
The charity shops near me dont even accept them anymore due to space issues,
and used CD stores pay nearly nil, it seems.

SoundScan ruled back in the day in the US...its what brought Rap/HipHop out of obscurity and into
the top 40 when they realized how many units actually were being sold
as opposed to ordered by the chains.

Not that I put much value in them, but, Grammy nominations will be announced in 2 months.
Hackney Diamonds was released Oct 20 which makes it eligible this year for all sorts of nominations.

Thoughts on possible categories for HD:

1) Album of the year
2) Best rock performance (whatever that is)
3) Best Gospel song (for SSoH)
4) Best Duet of some sorts
5) Single of the year (maybe)
6) Song of the year (For SSoH)

After a bit of a hiatus, (2+ months) I broke it out at work the other morning.
It still sounds incredible....from start to finish. A perfect 48 minutes of enjoyment.

I thought the "Plays" numbers on Spotify were interesting.

As of this writing:
Angrrrry .... 35.2 million
Mess It Up...14.4 million
SSOH..........13 million

The rest:
Side 1...all about 7+ million
Side 2...all about 4-5 million

Someone repost this in a year to compare.
