60 years ago today, the Rolling Stones appeared for the first time in 12" format. On September 28, 1963, the album "Thank your lucky Stars Vol.2" was released with the single "Come on" closing side 2, the 7” single was released previously in June. “Thank Your Lucky Stars was a British  TV series with rock stars miming to a prerecorded audio.

Of 16 artists on that album, only the Stones achieved worldwide fame and were last in the track order of the album.
