Exactly... Sad news, this phenomenon occurs frequently.

At advanced ages, in very close couples, one dies and the other dies shortly after, I don't know the reason, but it is pretty common, I think it is something like this: the one who survives goes into depression and there is a psychosomatic impact that affects the body and then the one alive goes looking for his/her partner without knowingly wanting it

Rest in peace Shirley, one of the longest-running rock couples, if not the longest-running couple, much love.

What an amazing marriage they had. Today's header picture is believed to be the last public photo of Charlie, taken a couple of years back. Met her a couple of times. She was a class act. He must have his reasons, but unless I missed it, it's a touch odd that the rest of the band did, but not him. Although I don't think Bill did either so maybe it's not odd.
